Another Money Free Week

We are trying it again. Hopefully this time will go the full Monday Morning - Friday Evening. We planned a little better this time. We ordered our groceries from Peapod last night ($75 for the week - down from $100....woo hoo). We have the cash on hand for Dan to play pick up hockey tonight if he wants - other than that some free fun for us this week - and no eating out (that means coffee for me at D&D - we make plenty at home for me to survive). I am really hopeful that this will get us better organized and off the eternal spending spree that we seem to be on.

I need to find a way to bring some extra money into our house as well. I bring all the boys clothes to consignment stores as they grow out of them, but that really doesn't add up to all that much. The last little bit I got from their clothes I actually put it in the bank with some other cash I had gotten. I am going to go by the store tomorrow and see what they aren't going to sell and possibly bring it to another store - see if they want it.

I am also going to start looking into different crafts that may be marketable - but that's not an overnight thing. But I figure if I can get a few things together I could do craft fairs, maybe make a little more here and there.

What I also need to do is learn to take any money we get from any little adventures and put it right into the bank - use it for our mountainous debt or our piddly little savings account - either way there are many good causes it can go to.

Well off to make some returns and visit Felicia and Baby Buttons!!
