Not Me Monday - Fat From Turkey

I do not use the words "bloggy" "blogosphere" and "y'all" far more often than I really should.

I did not decorate, redecorate, readjust, and redecorate the tree on Saturday. I am not sitting here looking at it thinking about getting a few new ornaments and re doing it again. I am not that obssessive about how my christmas tree looks.

I did not make lasagne for friends Friday night, while preparing the lasagne I did not realized that the sauce I had made (that had been in my freezer) had a funny taste - of course I checked everything well in advance. I did not then have to go to the drug store and buy Ragu to finish making the lasagne. I am not absolutely mortified to admit to using jarred sauce. I was not taught how to cook by my italian grandmother, she would not be mortified if she knew (if I had done this that is).

I did not completely guess at the recipe for the quick white bread for the bread machine the same night I didn't goof up the lasagne. This wasn't after realizing that the recipe had a MAJOR flaw...(really 3 cups of sugar to 3 cups of flour!!), I did not also have to guess how much yeast to use as I had the wrong type. We were not all pleasantly surprised by the actually yummy results!! I did not try again to do the same thing the following day, if I did the results were not terrible!!

I did not stay in my PJs all day Sunday...I am not typing this in said PJs...hoping to once again catch MckMama posting late night....hoping to break the top 5 again!!

I do not absolutely love all the little orange boxes that appear in the reading list on my blogger dashboard every sunday night - I don't love the fact that I am not the only one itching to post, well before Monday (well actually only mere hours or minutes before Monday)
..................................

While shopping Friday I found really cute PJs at The Disney Store - I was thrilled to find them for next to nothing, in both the boys sizes...Tonight we cleaned them up, put them in their matching PJs and tried to get some cute pictures of them together....You think at this point I would know better....

  2. What Mom isn't a sucker for cute pics with matching clothes!! We'll never learn I tell you! Sad but I too had the not me's prepared in hopes of breaking the top 10! Alas I missed it by mere seconds and came in at number 11!! Not obsessed at all I tell you! Don't know how I missed it because I certainly did NOT refresh every two seconds to catch the post!!!

  4. Awwww, seeing your boys reminds me of my 2 oldest boys when they were that age. They're 2 yrs 9 mos apart, so a bit more of an age difference, and they're 6 and almost 9 now, but still best of friends! Very cute!!

  5. Oh my goodness, you could probably help me! I married an italian from NJ and his momma would also just DIE if she ever found out that I cheat on the gravy sometimes. Your posts are great and I love the pictures of your boys.

  6. Oh I can totally relate on the pictures. It seems like when we try to get pictures of our two boys only one is interested in picture (if we are lucky!) I've been thinking similar thoughts about my Christmas tree but I figure I'm lucky I got it up and should just be happy about it!

  15. Precious pictures! I have two boys too (but mine are older). I once made a cassarole for friends and had to throw the whole thing away because after I made it, I snitched some cheese and discovered it had soured. Who knew mozarrela cheese could sour? Not me!
