We don't give him sugar Part 2....

So timely....I just post about how active my two year old is (complete with pictures)

If you have been following since October you may remember this: (10/08: A furniture mover he is not)

If you knew me before I blogged, you probably also remember this: (11/07 - face meets stairs...stairs won...face got 7 stitches)

We also had a great, vomit filled ER trip right after Christmas of 2007....I won't go in to details....other than the fact we were there for 11 hours - I think I was crying by the time we left!!
Today we can add to the list - Tommy and I got to make another fun ER visit today. He fell at daycare, and after speaking with his pediatrician we headed off to the ER at Hasbro for x-Rays. He wasn't using his right arm and complaining of pain...what fun!! We were there for something like 5 hours, we had to get 3 separate sets of x-rays, and watched Shrek 2 1/2 times (they had it in our room on the DVD player....no other options). Final diagnosis....he is ok...nursemaid's elbow (dislocation) that is now ok and is already healing.
Is it bad that at one point I was sitting in the uncomfortable little chair, in the uncomfortable little room, watching the boy sleep in his stroller, thinking about how I would blog about this, and regretting the fact that I didn't have my camera (I usually don't take it to work with me :).
My phone was my sanity - I was able to Tweet and pop on Facebook....until it died.
I am exhausted and on my way to bed shortly - Tommy has been asleep since we got home. I hope this is the last visit in a long long time!! (but with my crazy kid and another soon to be walking I'm not holding my breath)
Nighty Night!!

  3. Thankfully Tommy is ok. When my kids were 2 we didn't have cell phones or Facebook or Twitter or computers, so we had to resort to beer. Life is so much better now.

  5. As my grandma used to say, "Land sakes, child!" He does keep you hopping, doesn't he? I know you are happy that his arm is okay. Hope you have uninterrupted sleep tonight!

  8. oh gosh! poor guy... and poor mommy! I thought "easy" was rambunctious? No bad injuries... yet. I always imagine a broken leg on a toddler would be soooo rough!
