Talented Tuesday: A Terrifying Milestone

There is no denying Tommy is really becoming a big kid. As happy as I will be I swear I will break down the day he is finally potty trained simply because that will mean he is all growed up. (well sort of)

Last night he managed to remind me just how big he is, how old skilled and coordinated he is, by showing off his scissor skills. [don't worry - they were safety scissors] I think my heart almost stopped several times watching him cut, I was waiting for a little finger tip to land on the table {shudder}. He did great, and he loved it. We sat at the table for 20-3- minutes (he is 2 that is incredible!!) just cutting little pieces of paper so that he could have some paper to glue to other paper later.

  6. Awww...such a big boy! It's hard, at times, to watch them grow up. Toilet training was a celebration for me. Kindergarten? No problem. BUT, when they lost their baby teeth, it tore me all to pieces! The first tooth pulled on each boy was quite traumatic...not for THEM, but for their MOM! Haha

    Hang in there, little mama...
