Happily Exhausted

There are so many things I *should* be doing right now - I am still a little tired from our weekend....but this I need to do....I know you are all shaking in anticipation, anxiously hitting refresh....hoping that I will finally tell you about my weekend.....(you are doing that right?)....so finally....

************

Oh how I wish I could share every single picture I took - there are just so many that came out so nice!! How to I refrain? How do I pick and choose?!

************
When we were deciding what bills to pay off with our tax return, where the money would best be spent, we decided on two little extras a new camera and a handheld GPS. Our old camera just wasn't living up to the rigors of our life and it was driving me crazy.

As for the GPS, that was for our new family adventure in Geocaching. (basically its like little treasure hunts using coordinates sent out by other geocachers - when you find the cache you sign a little log book and leave a token, maybe take a token...I am sure I will post more about it as we do more).

This past weekend was our first weekend trying out the new GPS. Saturday afternoon wasn't so successful but it was fun!!

It was incredibly windy by the water, but so beautiful - I loved all the green!!

This is what Tommy did when I asked him to say "Cheese!!"

We started our adventure at my MIL's - that is when I realized that I forgot my Ring Sling...what's a mommy to do...why cut an old sheet of course!!

That the sheet/sling worked wonderfully - and I really liked the texture of the fabric. I think I am going to dye it, add some rings, and have myself another sling!!

I love this picture of Jack's little fingers grabbing for the buds (as I try to get pics of them) I love his curiosity!!

Sunday morning we stayed home and worked on the house/yard and then Sunday afternoon we were out again - treasure hunting - and actually successful this time, found two!!!

The caches we found were actually in our town at a park that I never even knew existed. I love that we have found something that we can do as a family and that will get us out and about, exploring around us.

Woo Hoo!!! Our first find!!!

Writing this post and looking at these pictures I have realized two things

1. We have a lot of hoodies for our little guys...we love hoodies
2. Tommy loves that hat and I really need to find a replacement 'cuz I hate it!!

************

So sit back and relax, you can rest easy now, you finally know what I did over the weekend!! If you are interested in my slightly angry Tuesday Tribute this week scroll on down to the next post......

g'night....

  9. I love all of the pictures, Liz! Your boys are gorgeous.

It is so weird to me that the last time we saw Jack, he was this little infant in the ER at Hasbro. (Cade was not that much bigger!)

    Time flies.

Is that a Clutch band t-shirt in the first pic? As in, the band that Duff loves so much?
