WW: You Didn't Think I Was Done Did You?!

This really is going to be a WORDFUL Wednesday....don't say I didn't warn you!!

That's right....we did more last weekend. I see so little of my boys during the week so when we are together we like to have a good time. But don't worry....we all still do our fair share of lazy weekend napping and movie watching.

After an exciting and sunny Friday at the zoo and geocaching...and....egg coloring, Saturday was a little more relaxed. We took a drive to CT to visit Dan's cousin's wife at her salon (Salon 41 in Oneco...highly recommend Kristy if you are in the area and need a haircut...she is fantastic....and wonderful with the kids!!). Kristy was so sweet to give our little guys haircuts. After that we treated them to McDonalds - a rare treat with Mommy, they were such good boys the whole day.

Saturday night I tried a new recipe (part of my 101 in 1001 challenge). It was a fantastic dish....Chicken Crostada....I highly recommend it (I pillaged it from Stephanie at Live.Love.Eat)

And finally we made it to Sunday and Easter!!! What a great family filled day we had. Easter Morning I gave the boys the little baskets I had made for them, just some little cars and stuffed animals. And then over to Nana's for food and fun and an Easter Egg hunt.

Phew....are you tired? I am....I am already looking forward to this weekend coming up and all the fun I am sure we are going to have!!

  9. I have made a few things from Stephanie and so far have not been disappointed. I will have to try that one soon. It cracks me up, Jack has had 2 or 3 haircuts and I still have yet to do Natey. The kid will be 5 and still never have had his hair trimmed! I'm just afraid we'll loose the curls!
