Randomly Rambling in Kansas City

If you are thinking to yourself "wait didn't she post from KC last week?!"  If you are feeling a bit of deja vu - don't worry you aren't losing it...I'm about to....I am once again in Kansas City.  I know you are jealous of my swanky 200 sq ft room....at least the bed I get to sleep in all by myself if a King size!!

I really can't complain too much though.   The wonderful agent at Avis decided that I needed this car:

Totally worth the $10 upgrade!!  The upside of this car - it is fun and fast and I feel so special driving it.  The down side...you get where you are going so darn fast that you hardly have the time to really enjoy it!!!

This week's Kansas City trip - the work part of it anyway - didn't go nearly as smoothly as it did last week....I fixed some things and watched other things that were on their way out start to break....what does all this mean you ask....I am already planning my glorious return.  Probably next week.  Fortunately the customers are really nice and I enjoy the site that I am at.  If I do come back next week - I am going to:   1) try to get another swanky ride     2)visit the home of Russell Stover  {yeah...I know you're jealous....my life is sweet!!}

Saturday is the Providence Open Market.  It is supposed to be nice out this week - I hope it is.  I couldn't take another Saturday like last week - it will be nice to since Kameron and I can both spend most of the day there.  We had planned on doing every other weekend - but as long as I don't have other things going on I'll probably stick around on my weekends "off" - it is fun and I like seeing how the other vendors have things set up.  And sitting there alone last week was no fun (Kameron had yoga and then a wedding) I can't imagine making my pregnant friend sit there by her lonesome most of the day.

Wish us luck!!

I am excited to get home tomorrow.  I am dying to be sitting in front of my sewing machine right now.  You would think that after all the sewing I have HAD to do I would be tired of it, but I am just getting more excited to sew.  I made some new aprons this past week/weekend - they are so cute!!  I can't wait to share pics of them.  I'll take a bunch on Saturday {you know...before we sell out of everything.}  I miss my boys too....but that's not just because of this trip....I miss my boys constantly these days {but I'll save that pity party for another post}.

Well I am off to take an incredibly hot and long shower and wash the ick of a day of flying and working off me.....

Happy Thursday (almost Friday) everyone...and be sure to visit Brooke and see who else is rambling along this week.

  3. Yeah I would definitely need a "Go Girl" if I had to sit there all day by myself! Ha! I wish I could have stayed last week, except for how much the weather sucked and all! Have a safe trip home and I'll talk to you later!
