Falling Behind

Who would ever know that this used to be the blog of a several times a day poster?!  I can hardly get to several times a week at this point!!!  I do miss the interactions, the writing, the creative outlet, but honestly I don't miss some of the time that goes into it - writing a blog post that I am proud of takes so long (writing, editing, finding the right pics, editing, reformatting, editing, posting, still editing, reposting....you get the idea).

Anyway I thought today would be a good day to sit (in bed I may add) and update you on everything you've missed since last Wednesday (because as always I KNOW you are all on the edge of your seats waiting for my next post!!)

******

Most annoyingly - I have been sick since the Weds before Thanksgiving.  I have gone from a cold to a sinus infection to bronchitis.  I even had the pleasure yesterday of getting a steroid shot in my hip because my breathing was so crappy AND I have been pulled out of work for the next few days so that my body can fight all this junk for good!!  I am sick of this - I have run out of sick time so I don't know exactly what is going to happen - we can't afford for me to be unpaid....this just (frankly) sucks!!!

On the total plus side the tree is decorated and the ornaments have {mostly} remained on the tree!!  The cat could care less (he is more interested in laying by the fire).  Tommy seems to like to group all of the ornaments together on one branch, but fortunately he does seem to be losing interest in this activity too.

I have a really big craft fair coming up in a few weeks in Boston (Bang! Craftfest)  I am really excited for this one and am determined to do exceedingly well.  I am slowly perfecting my indoor table set up (it is so much easier when you have a tent to use) and I am hoping to have it nailed by the time the show arrives (Dec 19th - if you are local and interested let me know and I can send you the information it really should be a fun day!!)

And now - most importantly.  As some of you may have heard a fantastic blogger and wonderful woman, Anissa Mayhew suffered a severe stroke in November.  Now her fantastic friends and fellow bloggers have put together an amazing auction to raise money, not just for Anissa and her family, but also for the Liz Longelin Foundation, whose goal is to financially assist families who have lost a parent.

Click on the button to head over to Mayhem and Moxie for more information on this wonderful event!!

I really feel like I had more to say but it all escapes me....I will be back later - with christmas tree pictures...I promise!!

  1. I do hope you get to feeling much better quickly. Get lots and lots of rest and try not to worry about the missed time from work. Who knows, maybe your craft show will more than make up for the missed time. Take care!

  4. I so hope you are feeling better soon. That really stinks. Everyone loves some time off work, but not the way you have to take it.

Oh, and T loves to group all the ornaments on the same branch too. Must be a toddler thing :)
