365 - Week 3

Day 15
Well I did it...yup...
I knew the day would come...
I totally spaced on taking a picture
But in my defense.....
We had a date night and my camera
was the last thing on my mine
Whoops :)

Day 16

  The boys finally have new bedding
I bought them each a set.
As we are getting their room ready
In the house we will be moving to
My Mother-in-Laws, their Bobo
{this is my unimposing way to announce the
big change that we had been discussing.
In several months we will be moving.
When I am ready I may tell you more}
I  have big plans for that room..
It will be decorated
It will be cute
It will be all BOY
I can't wait to get it done!!

Day 17

I have not words for this picture other than...
I LOVE THESE BOYS!!

Day 18

The boys and I were home all day Monday and it was lovely.  So lovely that I didn't have time to take a lot of pictures...but I did manage to sew a couple of baby legwarmer things....Tommy loved his!!  Jack (as you can see here) is not too fond of them...oh well...

Day 19
Midnight 1/20 and I think "Oh Crap!!  No picture!!"
But then I realize - in both delight and dread
I did take a picture or two
And since I don't want to miss too many days
I'll share one...
I think this is the least embarassing....

Why is it that I can't take a picture of myself without looking like a deer in headlights?
Why is my house so darn cold I am wearing a hat inside?
And what exactly posessed me to stand in front of my mirror and take pictures of myself?
{yes pictures - as in many of them....weirdo...}

Day 20

What's a house with boys without a Tonka truck or two
{or about 5,000 in this house!!}

Day 21

Again...no words needed....but I will say that in this house...if you say you are "stuck" on the couch and can't help clean {or even come play} we know how to un-stick you!!

Well I made it through another week.  I'm not too thrilled with this set.  I'm not happy with the pictures my camera is taking in general - the overall quality is sucking a bit.  I think I will have to really start working hard so that I can maybe some day afford a new one!!  {heck I'll even take a new used one as long as I can get it tuned up a bit...anyone know anyone looking to sell a used dSLR cheap?!}

  2. Hey, just having these pictures to really remember what life is like is more important than having amazing pictures. And the picture with your two boys is so cute!

    And yes, I know very well about being stuck, can't getting up, etc.. happens all of the time at our house too :)

  3. I'm telling you, these are the shots -- your daily life, being lived -- that you are going to look back on and smile.

    And everyone looks like a deer in the headlights when they take a self portrait.

    I'm so proud of you for continuing on, even after you missed a day!

  4. This is such a neat idea. Maybe next year, I'll give it a shot (pun intended).

    The last picture is my favorite. So sweet!

    Congrats on the upcoming move. I just had a feeling that's what you had in the pipeline. Enjoy planning for your new home. :-)

  5. I like the shot of yourself. I, too, always look like a deer in the headlights when I take photos of myself. Oh well.
    And I love the one of your litlte boy with the leg-warmers!

  6. I love the boys' bedding! I have seen it at Target a few times and really wished that it matched the walls in my boys' room! It is so cute:) I wanted to do the 365 thing, but I figured I would be doing a lot of not taking pictures and then feeling bad...so I just didn't participate at all!

  10. What a sweet picture of the boys in their matching sweaters...I have pics of my boys (from their younger years) in matching outfits. Too cute!

    Moving in with your mother-in-law? That IS a big change! ;-)

  13. Love the bedding....better not let my son see it, he will just have to have it. And tonka...yeah know all about that too!

  14. Love that bedding set. Target? I think so because we recently moved my son into a twin bed and bought him bedding. It was between robots, monsters, and cars and he picked cars. Not my first choice, but it's his room not mine. Adorable.

    And I love the hat you are wearing. Did you make it?

    Love the matching boys. Their sweet!

  16. At least you took pictures of yourself. One night I was about to go to bed and realized I forgot. So I went and took a picture of one of my boys asleep. Good thing he's a sound sleeper!

    I think matching clothes on boys is the cutest thing ever. Plus your boys are cute!

    I'll have to remember to take a picture of some of the many trucks we have hanging around my house too.

  17. I love the bedding! It is so cute! We are getting a bed for Nate this week, so if you want the other blue crib sheet so they match it is all yours. I love their sweaters! Where did you get them?? So cute!
