WW: Boys Will Be Boys

It is never dull here....

Never!!

When Tommy was 2 (remember here) he broke his leg.

It was sad, but oh so cute

Seriously....look at the little foot in that little green cast

And then on Sunday

Jack decided that he needed to be like his big brother

So apparently he jumped off the couch

(actually the story is he jumped on the couch and then bounced off of it...Mommy was not in the room at the time)

And so now....here we are....

He is pretty proud of his new cast, even picked out the color himself!!

But don't worry it hasn't slowed him down any!!

  2. Oh no! They are both so cute, but I hate that about the casts. My little man is on the go NON STOP, but KNOCK ON WOOD, we haven't had any broken bones.

  3. We went through the boys having stitches and broken fingers and a broken nose. Fortunately, no casts during their childhood! lol

  4. Aw, poor things... but they get to look cool with their casts on. :)

I didn't realize they make casts in those darling colors now... Better not let me kiddies see this, else they might want to have casts, too! :)

  6. My son had a leg cast when he was 18 months, but it went all the way up to his hip. Just like your boys, it didn't keep him down long.

  14. Oh no!

I would totally agree with you on the boy thing... except that I've had four casts, LOL.

So sorry and hope he is on the mend quick - doesn't look like it's bothering him one bit!

  15. Oh no! I suppose as the mother of a boy this is destined to happen here too. I hope not!

He looks pretty happy with his blue cast though.

  22. At least he's in good spirits. My #1 broke his leg when he was two also. It was right before the 4th of July so he got the cutest little American flag cast. It was pretty neat. It was miserable carrying him around in the heat, but he learned how to drag his leg and keep up with the kids pretty quickly. Kids are so resilient, it's kind of amazing!
