Letters of Intent

Dear Baby #3,

I am so happy to know that you are in there - only 8 weeks along and I am thrilled at the possibility of who you might be, I love you more than life itself already!

That said, we have to talk...

I know that you will be one of three, and think you might have to fight for my attention, please know that there is no need to start now.  This "morning" sickness that knocks me to my feet every evening - as impressed I am with your ability to get me, this is not my idea of fun....just saying.

And yes, Mommy does want to look slightly younger than her thirty {ahem} two years, but the pubescent skin that you have brought to me...not cool.  Yeah....I would rather not be using clearasil at this stage in my life.

Oh and one more thing....while you are in there can you work on rearranging some of the, ummmm....., fat deposits that you seem to have already brought with you.  Mommy would really like her non-maternity wardrobe to last past 9 weeks, but at this rate I'm not sure if we will make it.

Ok...did you get all that?

Sincerely,
You very loving and excited mother

{p.s.  dear sweet baby please know that all of this is in jest, and I am thrilled beyond words to know that you are brewing....regardless of the hormonal side-effects you have brought with you!!}

Dear Hubby,

I love you dearly, you are the father of my three children and I couldn't be happier.  But thank you for having a sleep study last night and being away.  As much as I love it when you are there - I really truly did enjoy having the bed to myself for the night!!

With all my love,
Your Incredibly Well Rested Wife

Dear Jackie Boy,

I love you dearly, I love spending time with you, but can we please try to make sure that the time we spend together is between the hours of 7am and 9pm?  Mommy is really not digging this lets wake up at 4 or 5am at least once a week, and 2 am on other nights.  While I know I need to be prepared for the lack of sleep once #3 comes, I can think of better ways to prepare myself than sleeping on the couch with you and your incredibly hard cast right now.

Sincerely,
The Woman Who Feeds You and I Tired of Sleeping on the Couch

********

Dear Self,

You have spent much time with Danielle, planning out your knew blog design.  She has helped you get your header done, all you have to do is the HTML - so why exactly isn't it done yet?  Seriously you started it, but there is a little more left to do....get it done already.

Best Regards,
The Half of You Who Isn't a Procrastinater

  1. I love the new look! Great job both you and Danielle! Did you have any of the sickness and major acne with the boys? I know my pregnancy with the girl was so different than with Nate! Team Girl! Go!
