Simplify and Purge: Day 1

Thank you Michele for being my inspiration to go through my house and purge of all the things we don't need any longer.

I think we tried this when we moved, but towards the end it was chaotic and things just got thrown into boxes and bags - things I am sure we don't need (considering I have a couple boxes who's contents I am not sure of I am quite certain of this)

So here are my results from Day 1: The bathroom purge

29 items - some expired, some unneeded, and one mysterious m&m (yeah - have no idea how that got there - kinda icky no?)

Tonight, while the hubby is out (FIL scored AMAZING tickets to the Red Sox this afternoon) I think I will attack our bedroom - have to make room for the new little baby somewhere after all!!

  1. What a great idea. I need to do this too. Maybe when the kids start school in a few weeks.

  4. Oh yayy! I did my bedroom last weekend.

15 items to the consignment store.

1 garbage bag to the garbage.

    4 garbage bags to donate.

    It feels good, doesn't it?

  5. Well, it's not Kam's 73 items, but it's just as good!! : ) Think I might have to tackle the bathroom products bin too... wonder how many I'll get?

Oh, and did either of the boys claim the m&m? : )
