A Trip to NYC

It was all for a blog conference, it was all for the parties, it was all for the friends

In 34 hours

That felt more like 72.

Pictures like these

Show the new friendships formed

and old friendships enjoyed.

We saw Time Square

We saw Mood Fabric

We saw a great hotel room

We played and partied and danced and laughed

We didn't seem Central Park or FAO Schwartz - but were perefectly ok with that!!

We drove away feeling tired and happy;

energized, and even a little sad.

But even as I write this post

Tweets are being sent

Plans are being made

And new friends found during a too short weekend in NYC are quickly on their way to becoming old friends near and dear to our hearts (even if they are not near to our homes!!)

Thank you NYC, BlogHer, and all my lovely ladies for helping me experience the rejuvinating and uplifiting weekend that I so desperately needed at this point in my life.  I may not have seen a session but I am perfectly ok with that (from what I hear I am better off for it).  I do think I did find what I might have been unknowingly looking for.  Connection, validation, {and maybe even a little bit of swag}.

***Totally forgot to mention that a good number of these pics were taken by my partner in crime at BlogHer - Kameron from A Wrinkle in Time!!***

  3. Oh my goodness great shots! (Can you send me the first one?) I wish my BlogHer had been your BlogHer. It wasn't far off though, and I'm so pleased to have met some great, wonderful, women. And I really do hope our friendships continue.

  9. I'm still jealous that I couldn't go. Bummer! I'm glad you had a great time, though.
