Learning How To Juggle: Part 2

I think I am finally starting to get the hang of it...if nothing else I'm starting to relax about a lot of this juggling.

It helps that today was a good day, a very good day.

We got up late, after letting the boys watch some Mickey Mouse in our bed, while hubs and I continued to doze on and off.

We all went so the boys/man of the family could get haircuts. Walking into the quick and cheap walk in salon I prepared myself for entertaining 2 while holding the little miss. To our joy they were not busy and all 3 were sat at the same time. I was able to hold the baby while going between Jack & Tommy.  After about 15-20 minutes all hair cuts were done and we were out the door. (no tears, no whining, and everyone listening)

We got ready for a family party, daddy bathing the boys while mommy made the cookies (an epic fail in appearance, but surprisingly yummy in taste!!)

We enjoyed the family party, me standing with my three cousins and chatting as we are part of adding to the numbers of the next generation (I have Olivia, cousin J is due with her #2 in 2 months, cousin L is due in 3 months, and cousin K is due in 4 months!!).  The boys danced and entertained, and were entertained by their cousins, aunts and uncles.  The little mess was happily passed from the arms of one aunt to the next.

We headed home, less one child (Jack having his special weekend with Nana and Papa). And relaxed watching movies in bed until one by one everyone (except this mama obviously) fell asleep.

The house is still a bit of a pit (I'm working on that) and the laundry piles up a bit, but I'm learning to be a little more ok with this :) But its days like that that make me realize I can do this, and everyday I will have the opportunity to get a little better at it.  I'm slowly starting to work more into my life again, reading and writing blogs again (slowly, but its starting to happen), sewing (just a stitch here and there but getting some really cute stuff completed), getting out and seeing friends and family.

I keep having more days like this maybe I will try to convince the hubby that we could handle 4 kids, but that might just be the exhaustion talking...

On a slightly unrelated note, I have decided to change my blog name, and I have (with the help of my fabulous cousin) decided on a new and much more fitting name, now I just need to either find the time to do the redesign of my blog or find someone who wants to do it for me (for little to no $)

Congrats on a successful trip to get haircuts! It could have gone so differently and I'm glad it was easy for you!

And who might that cousin be who suggested the new blog name and what does she win?!! :) Hope to see you soon!

  6. I'm glad everyone is settling into life as a family of five! Sounds like a wonderful weekend, indeed.

You're doing better than I am with blogging, and I have no excuse. I just haven't been able to get back into the swing of it.

Take some pics of your three guys and their new haircuts, and take a pic of that sweet baby girl....we'd love to see them!

    Hugs...

  8. oh the third one most definitely mixes up the family dynamics! But in such a good way! It took me almost 2 years to get my head back - hee hee! Just wait until they are all in school - 3 different kids with 3 different activities - gah! I';m going crazy again!
